As owner of the VIP package you can move the car from one garage to another
- Validity – daily, 24 hours per day
- Coverage – Romanian territory and Europe
- Distance limit (towing) – 100 km from the towing location, upon which an additional fee of Euro 0.5 /km + VAT shall be paid
a) Special services:• in case the motor-vehicle is towed, the client’s transport from the respective location (either by taxi, or by an appointed driver) to the specified location (however, not further than 100 km, upon which an additional fee of Euro 0.5 /km shall be paid) only in case the motor vehicle may be towed;
• two nights' accommodation with a limit of 80 Euros/night, only one time per year;
• during winter, in case mandatory to perform works/ to install special tires for winter and chains for snow;
• the ordinary inspection of the motor-vehicle;
• the general evaluation of the motor-vehicle;
• the motor-vehicle opening in case no key is available or in case the key was forgotten inside the motor-vehicle and this is locked.
b) Towing, under the following conditions:• in case the towing is required because it is not operational due to an accident, theft or damage occurred to the motor-vehicle and which determined the motor-vehicle not to be operational;
• towing the motor-vehicle between two garages or from a garage to the destination point specified by the client;
• storage and safety services for the motor-vehicle within Pointer parking spaces;
• the transfer of the motor-vehicle in another parking area from that location shall be made on the client's risk;
• Pointer shall ensure towing services only in case the motor-vehicle is circulating or in a parking area and may be towed;
• Pointer shall not tow the motor-vehicle from a repair center or around a distance of 50 m from a repairs center;
• Pointer shall not ensure towing services in case the order is a result of use of the motor-vehicle by an unauthorized person or is the result of repairs performed by an unauthorized party or of the involvement of the motor-vehicle in sport activities/events;
• unlimited towing and/or road assistance interventions.
c) Road assistance – "first-aid" services performed by a mobile work-shop:
• starting the engine
• minor repairs:
- replacement of battery* - the client shall pay the battery in accordance with the price list of the company with 7.5% deduction
- minor electric system interventions
- provision of cooling agent* – the client shall pay the special cooling agent
- replacement of the spare tire in case the client has one – for free
- fuel provision service – in case the motor-vehicle is damaged due to empty fuel tank and in order to allow the member to reach the first gas station. The client shall pay the fuel cost.
d) Car replacement• the
VIP package includes a supplementary service of car replacement under the following conditions:
- when the car reparation is performed in
Pointer network garages, the cost for car replacement is covered by Silver Plus package (only in case of accident).
- when the car reparation is performed in garages outside Pointer network, the client will cover the rent-a-car cost (in any conditions).
- As Pointer member you have the right to receive the services described above for motor-vehicles (towing and/or road assistance) unlimited number of interventions per year for free;
- Response: 1 up to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
*Only in case the spare parts are available in the mobile work-shop.
